What is a color correction?
There are many different kinds of color corrections. The general two are correcting “too light” color or “too dark” color. Other color corrections involve: at-home hair color disasters, removing unwanted hues, making blonde less brassy, lighten or darken hair in ends or roots, and returning hair to its natural shade.
How long does a color correction take?
Depends on the kind of color correction needed. From choosing the color desired to formulating the color mixture to achieving the desired result, along with processing time, it'll take from 2 to 5 hours or more.
How much does a color correction cost?
Cost is quoted after determining the amount of color used and time needed to achieve the desired result.
What is an ombre?
Ombre is a style of hair color where there is a gradual blending from one color to another as you go out from the mid-lengths to the ends. Generally, it is a fade to light, but it can also be a fade to dark.
How long does an ombre take?
It takes around 2 hours, with added custom colors it may take longer.
How much does an ombre cost?
Our ombre starts at $180, final cost depends on the the amount of color used and time needed to achieve the desired result.
What is a balayage?
Balayage is a technique of hand-painting color on the hair. Selected pieces of hair is lighten in order to create a very natural, soft graduated blonde look. Most of the time foils aren't used, unless going for a bright blonde look.
How long does a balayage take?
A balayage may take from 2 to 4 hours depending on the shade you desire.

Our balayage starts at $180, final cost depends on the length and density of your hair as well as the desired effect.

People with frizzy, damaged or processed hair, who want smooth, healthy, frizz-free hair, and radiant shine with body and bounce.
Can hair get a Brazilian Blowout if it's highlighted and/or colored?
Yes. A Brazilian Blowout will actually improve health of color-treated/highlighted hair and enhance the color.
How long does the Brazilian Blowout service take?
Between 1 1/2 to 2 hours. Depending on the thickness and length of the hair.
How long does the Brazilian Blowout last?
It lasts for 10-12 weeks with the use of Brazilian Blowout's Açai After-Care Maintenance product line or sulfate-free shampoos and conditioners.
How to maintain the Brazilian Blowout?
Avoid getting hair wet for 2 hours following the Brazilian blowout service. Use Brazilian Blowout's Açai After-Care Maintenance product line or sulfate-free shampoos and conditioners. Wait at least 2 weeks before coloring hair. Wear hair naturally for at least 24 hours following the Brazilian blowout without additional styling products. Wait at least 2 hours before wearing hair accessories such as headbands, hair ties, clips or pins. Shampoo, condition and style hair as usual starting the day after the treatment.

People with kinky or very curly hair, who want to tame their hair for easier straightening and managment.
Can hair get a Relaxer if it's highlighted and/or colored?
Yes. There is a level of color-protectant with in the Relaxer.
How long does the Relaxer service take?
About 2 hours or more. Depends on the thickness and length of the hair.
How long does the Relaxer last?
Between 2 to 3 months or until new hair grows in.
How to maintain the Relaxer?
Use a moisturizing conditioner on the hair regularly. Limit use of hot hair styling tools. Avoid relaxing hair too frequently. But once every six to eight weeks is fine. Trim hair once every three months to reduce split ends and breakage.

Who is best candidate to do Japanese Straight Perm on?
People with unmanageable, thick kinky, frizzy, curly, wavy, or poofy hair, who want permanant pin-straight hair that's also soft, silky, and shiny.
Can hair get a Japanese Straight Perm if it's highlighted and/or colored?
Not all highlighted or bleached hair can be done. Go to a consultation to get the hair checked first.
How long does the Japanese Straight Perm service take?
3 to 4 hours to complete. Otherwise, depends on length and thickness of hair.
How long does the Japanese Straight Perm last?
It's permanent. The Japanese Straight Perm restructures bonds in the hair, so results are long-lasting. Depending on rate of hair growth retouch of new growth would be needed about every 6 to 12 months.
How to maintain the Japanese Straight Perm?
For the first 3 days, stay away from water, steam, mist, dew or anyplace with a moisture atmosphere. Retouch of new growth would be needed after 6 to 12 months. Protect hair from the sun, and deep condition.

Who is best candidate to do Digital Perm on?
People with thick or coarse hair that can hold a wavy curl.
Can hair get Digital Perm if it's highlighted and/or colored?
No. But hair color can be done after the treatment with a time span.
How long does the Digital Perm service take?
3 to 4 hours. Depends on hair length and thickness.
How long does the Digital Perm last?
3 months or up to 1 year. Depends on hair type and maintenance.
How to maintain the Digital Perm?
After shampoo and conditioner rub leave-in anti-frizz treatment into damp hair. Twirl hair into two buns at either side of the head and allow buns to air dry. Once dry gently undo the buns and gently comb through strands with fingers. Avoid blow-drying the hair.
Gives volume, lift, dimension, and life back to dull flat hair
Adds volume and texture to fine limp hair.
Adds height and lift at the very roots of the hair.
Adds volume and body to flat hair. Curls are added to either a few sections of the hair while other sections are left straight, or the ends are permed leaving the scalp straight.
Curls added only to the end of the hair. Suitable for those with single hair length and are looking to add more volume and dimension to their hair.
Extremely tight, cascading curls or ringlets. Look like tightly wound spirals or corkscrews.
Who is best candidate to do a Perm on?
People with thicker hair will take a perm curl better. Generally, perms work best on virgin hair or otherwise any undamaged hair. Test if hair is damaged by taking a few strands of hair, put them in a glass of water. If they sink, hair is damaged. If the strands float, hair is healthy. Advise with a stylist before a perm.
Can hair get a Perm if it's highlighted and/or colored?
Yes. However, wait at least 1 week after haircolored before getting a perm. And remember that you will now be doing double chemical process over each other and your hair might become quite damaged.
How long does the Perm service take?
2 to 4 hours. Depends on length and thickness of hair.

About 2 to 6 months.
How to maintain the Perm?
Don't wash the hair for the first 1 to 3 days. Condition curls regularly with a detangler. Blow-dry with a diffuser or air dry. Style with products that intensify or smooth curls. Trim ends regularly to avoid split ends and breakage.
